From the refreshed XC60 and new EX90 options to the rugged EX30 Cross Country, here’s everything new across the range – including trims, tech, and pricing.
The latest introductions demonstrate Volvo Cars’ commitment to keeping pace with customer tastes and requirements, and providing a wide choice of electrified powertrains – be that fully electric, plug-in hybrid or mild-hybrid.
Volvo’s best-selling SUV globally, the XC60 receives a comprehensive update for 2025. The refreshed model features a revised exterior, including a new grille design, new alloy wheel options and updated dark-finished rear lights.
Inside, there’s a clear step forward in design and usability. A new 11.2-inch infotainment screen with Volvo’s latest user experience system offers faster performance and improved functionality. Practical enhancements include a new wireless charging pad and a reworked centre console, while new upholstery options – including Nordico and a navy herringbone fabric – offer a modern, sustainable finish.
The XC60 remains available with a choice of three powertrains: the B5 mild-hybrid and T6 or T8 plug-in hybrids. Pricing starts at £49,240 (B5 Core) and goes up to £69,860 for the range-topping T8 Plug-in Hybrid Ultra Black Edition.
Volvo’s flagship electric SUV, the EX90, welcomes a new Single Motor variant and an additional Plus trim level. The new rear-wheel-drive powertrain delivers 279hp and 490Nm of torque, offering smooth performance and up to 380 miles of range (WLTP) from its 100kWh battery.
This new version also introduces a lower entry point to the EX90 line-up, with pricing from £82,660. The new Plus trim – available on both Single and Twin Motor variants – includes premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, 14.5-inch central touchscreen, four-zone climate control and a full 360-degree camera system. Twin Motor variants continue to benefit from air suspension and adaptive dampers as standard.
The adventurous new EX30 Cross Country joins the Volvo line-up as a rugged, all-electric SUV ready to take on all conditions. Based on the EX30 Twin Motor Performance Ultra, it features unique Cross Country styling – including matt black bumper shields, skid plates, and dedicated 19-inch alloy wheels.
With all-wheel drive, a 19mm increase in ground clearance and revised suspension, it’s engineered for a confident ride across varied terrain. On-the-road pricing starts at £47,060.
Volvo has increased the driving range of the EC40 and EX40 models with the introduction of a new 82kWh battery (79kWh usable). Single Motor Extended Range versions can now achieve up to 360 miles (EC40) and 358 miles (EX40) on a full charge – an increase of around 15 miles over the previous battery option.

Volvo is introducing a new trim level – Plus Pro – across several model ranges. Positioned between the Plus and Ultra grades, it adds a host of useful technologies and styling enhancements.
Highlights include pixel LED headlights with adaptive shadow technology, LED front foglights with cornering function, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system. On the XC60, Plus Pro adds 20-inch diamond cut alloys and ventilated Nappa leather upholstery. XC90 Plus Pro variants come equipped with 21-inch alloys and the same luxurious leather interior.
The XC60 receives a fresh new look with updated styling, a new grille, redesigned wheels, and dark-finished rear lights. Inside, there's a faster infotainment system, a larger 11.2-inch screen, and a more refined interior with new upholstery options and improved sound insulation.
