Volvo EX60 and XC40 win at the Parkers Car Awards 2027

Volvo Car UK is celebrating two award wins at Parkers Car Awards 2027, with the all-electric EX60 named ‘Best Medium Family Car’ and the Volvo XC40 taking home the reader-voted ‘Most Wanted’ award.

Since arriving on UK roads this year, the Volvo EX60 has continued to receive recognition with its blend of comfort, practicality, innovative design and technology. The Volvo XC40 has also taken home the Readers’ Most Wanted accolade, securing a clear victory with 22% of the votes from a shortlist of the UK’s top 10 best-selling cars. Voted for by Parkers readers, the award highlights the XC40’s practical design, spacious interior and choice of specifications which continue to make it a popular choice among UK motorists.

Commenting on the award, the judges said, “The Parkers readers have spoken, and the Volvo XC40 has been awarded the Most Wanted for 2027 – the model people aspire to own next. We took the top 10 best-selling models in the UK and asked our readers which of them they really want to own next. The Volvo beat all-comers, attracting 22% of the votes, in what was a clear and decisive victory. The XC40 is no new entrant to the UK market, but it remains one of the most appealing SUVs that you can buy with its comfortable ride and premium approach clearly still something that has an appeal with the public.”
