Kia Confirms UK Pricing for Upgraded EV6 GT

The new Kia EV6 GT will arrive in the UK with prices starting from £59,985. Kia says the upgraded model is the fastest car it has ever produced.

The EV6 GT receives a major mid-life update. It introduces a larger 84kWh battery, more power, and new technology to improve driver engagement. Range is quoted at up to 279 miles (WLTP combined).

Powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel drive system, the GT now delivers 641bhp and 770Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 161mph.

Performance highlights include neon green brake callipers, GT-specific interior details, and a steering wheel-mounted GT Mode button. Drivers can also activate a new Virtual Gear Shift system, simulating a paddle-operated transmission for a more engaging drive.

The suspension has been retuned to balance comfort with sharp handling. Noise and vibration levels are also improved thanks to sound-absorbing tyres, upgraded aerodynamics, and new materials in the cabin.

Charging remains a strong point for the EV6. Using a 350kW charger, the GT can recharge from 10–80% in just 18 minutes.

Originally launched in 2021 as Kia’s first dedicated EV, the EV6 introduced the brand’s advanced E-GMP platform with 800V ultra-fast charging capability. The latest GT builds on this with enhanced performance and refinement.

The EV6 GT will be available to order at TMS Kia Leicester, Hinckley, and Loughborough from later this year. Customers can register interest now to be among the first to experience Kia’s most powerful production car.
