Kia has confirmed that its new all-electric EV2 will make its global debut at the Brussels Motor Show on 9 January 2026.
The unveiling will take place at Kia’s stand in Hall 5, Booth 3 at 10:40am CET, with the show open to the public from 10 to 18 January.
The EV2 is a fully electric compact SUV designed specifically for Europe. It is intended to offer an accessible entry point into Kia’s electric range, without compromising on usability or design.
Kia says the EV2 blends modern styling with smart electric features, strong connectivity and an adjustable interior space suitable for everyday life.
The EV2 has been designed, developed and will soon be produced entirely in Europe. Kia says this focus ensures the model meets the needs of European roads and customers.
Marc Hedrich, President and CEO of Kia Europe, said the EV2 brings the innovation of Kia’s larger EVs to a more compact and affordable model, helping make electric mobility more accessible.
Alongside the EV2, Kia will display new GT versions of the EV3, EV4 Hatchback and EV5 at the Brussels Motor Show. Journalists attending the event will receive an in-depth briefing on the EV2 during the live presentation.
The arrival of the EV2 will give drivers in Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley and across the Midlands another electric option in the popular compact SUV category. Its size, design and expected running costs make it a practical choice for both city and rural routes.
