Kia Motors (UK) Limited has once again topped the summer survey of dealer attitude conducted by the NFDA, with regard to overall manufacturer rating – this time jointly with Lexus - the brand came top in the surveys in 2017 and 2018.
Asked how highly dealers rated their relationship with the manufacturer, Kia scored 9.1 out of 10 to jointly top this year’s summer survey, where the average score was just 5.6.
Paul Philpott, President and Chief Executive commented: “For us to be in the top spot again for overall dealer satisfaction highlights the positive relationship that we continue to build with our dealer network.
“I am extremely proud of that relationship and this is shared by every member of the Kia team here in the UK. We shall continue to build on this and justify our dealers’ confidence. With a challenging 2020 ahead we remain committed to strengthening our relationship and ensuring that our dealers are supported for the long-term with plans that deliver stability and profitability” he added.
When asked about overall manufacturer satisfaction, dealers rank Kia and Lexus joint first with Suzuki second with a score of 8.4 followed by Toyota with 8.2. Seat and Mazda were both fourth with a score of 8.0. In the average score calculation Kia scored 8.6, with the average coming out at 5.8.
