The Kia PV5 is Kia’s first fully electric commercial vehicle, designed from the ground up for business use. It comes in three main versions, Cargo, Crew, and Chassis Cab, making it ideal for tradespeople, delivery drivers, and fleet operators.
Both battery options support 400V DC fast charging. When using a 150kW rapid charger, the PV5 can charge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes. AC charging times vary between 5 to 10 hours depending on charger speed and battery size.
The PV5 offers two battery options. The standard range (51.5kWh) delivers up to 181 miles (Cargo), 174 miles (Crew), and 155 miles (Chassis Cab). The long range (71.2kWh) can achieve up to 247 miles (Cargo) and 217 miles (Chassis Cab), based on WLTP combined figures.
All PV5 models come with Kia’s industry-leading seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, plus a separate eight-year warranty for the high-voltage battery, offering peace of mind for business owners and fleet operators.
The ‘Essential’ grade includes a generous range of standard features like air conditioning, smart entry, LED lights, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, and advanced safety tech.
The ‘Plus’ grade adds heated seats and steering wheel, wireless phone charging, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, blind-spot avoidance, and optional extras like a heat pump.
Initially, the PV5 is offered in L2/H1 configuration for Cargo, Crew, and Chassis Cab. Additional length and height options (L1/H1 and L2/H2) will be introduced in 2026. Payloads and cargo volume vary by model, with up to 790kg payload and 4.4m³ cargo space in the Cargo variant.
The PV5 Crew seats up to five people with a sliding and folding rear bench to alternate between carrying passengers and cargo. It’s available in L2/H1 with the standard 51.5kWh battery, offering up to 174 miles of range and 605kg payload.
