Kia has unveiled three new high-performance electric GT models, the EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show.
The new models bring Kia’s GT performance badge to more electric vehicle segments, including compact SUVs, hatchbacks and family-sized SUVs. The announcement marks the next phase of Kia’s electric GT strategy, combining sporty driving with software-led technology and everyday usability.
The EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT feature upgraded electric powertrains, GT-tuned suspension systems and dedicated drive modes designed to deliver a more engaging driving experience. All three models use dual-motor all-wheel drive systems and benefit from electronically controlled chassis technology, GT-exclusive drive settings and performance-focused interior design.
Kia says the aim is to deliver emotional driving without sacrificing comfort, practicality or everyday usability.
The EV3 GT and EV4 GT are built on a shared technical platform, translating Kia’s GT philosophy into smaller, more accessible electric vehicles. Both models use an 81.4kWh battery paired with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing 215kW. Kia has also fitted GT-specific suspension tuning, larger alloy wheels and performance tyres.
A dedicated GT drive mode adjusts power delivery, steering, suspension and digital displays to create a more focused driving feel. Both models also introduce Virtual Gear Shift technology and active sound design, designed to add feedback and driver engagement during acceleration and braking.
The EV3 GT applies GT performance to the compact SUV segment, combining upright proportions with sporty chassis tuning. Design changes include GT-specific seats inspired by the EV9 GT, distinctive interior accents and ambient lighting linked to driving modes. Kia positions the EV3 GT as an accessible entry point into its electric GT range.
The EV4 GT is offered in both hatchback and fastback body styles and is aimed at drivers who prefer a lower, more dynamic driving position. GT-specific seats, steering wheel design and a dedicated performance interface reinforce its sportier character. Kia says the EV4 GT delivers a more agile and responsive driving experience than traditional electric SUVs.
The EV5 GT brings GT performance into the C-SUV segment, combining increased power with everyday versatility. The model uses a more powerful 225kW dual-motor system and features a GT-tuned suspension with road preview technology.
Design upgrades include sport seats, GT-specific exterior details and interior lighting linked to GT drive modes.
Kia first introduced the GT badge in 2013 with the Ceed GT and ProCeed GT, before expanding the performance range with the Stinger GT. The electric GT era began with the EV6 GT, which went on to win the 2023 World Performance Car of the Year award.
More recently, the EV9 GT extended GT performance into larger electric SUVs.
The arrival of the EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT will give drivers in Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley and across the Midlands more high-performance electric options. Production of all three GT models is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with UK launch timings expected to be confirmed closer to arrival.
