Any component failure attributable to faulty materials or workmanship during manufacture will be rectified free of charge at a Polestar Service Partner, for three years from the date that the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
For three years from the date that the vehicle is delivered to the first owner, any paintwork defects and surface rust attributable to faulty materials or workmanship during manufacture will be rectified free of charge at a Polestar Service Partner.
For eight years from the date the vehicle is delivered to the first owner or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, any material defect of the high voltage lithium-ion battery pack will be rectified free of charge at a Polestar Service Partner.
The lithium-ion battery fitted to Polestar will experience a gradual capacity loss with time and use. Loss of battery capacity due to or resulting from normal gradual capacity loss is not covered under the Polestar new car warranty.
For twelve years, from the date that the vehicle is delivered to the first owner, rust perforation through any sheet metal body panel attributable to faulty materials or workmanship during manufacture will be rectified free of charge at a Polestar Service Partner. The term “rust perforation” refers to corrosion spreading from the inner surface to the outer surface of a sheet metal body panel, causing a hole to develop.
Polestar cars receives regular over-the-air updates for the infotainment system, apps, and car systems. Downloading and installing the latest release will ensure the car remains future-proof, without the need to visit a service point.
