Kia has confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the new Stonic, with the updated crossover available from just £21,795.
The new Stonic sits just above the Kia Picanto in the line-up and remains one of the most affordable ways to own a Kia SUV. Customers can order their new Stonic now from one of our TMS Kia showrooms, with first deliveries due later in 2025.
Kia has refreshed the Stonic’s design to give it a more confident look on the road. A redesigned front end features a wider ‘tiger nose’ grille, sleeker LED headlights and a sharper bumper profile. At the rear, new LED tail-lamps and a reworked tailgate design help the Stonic stand out in the crowded small SUV market.
Customers can also choose from a wider range of paint finishes, including vibrant two-tone colour combinations that allow the roof and body to be personalised. Sportier GT-Line models add gloss black trim, deeper bumpers and larger alloy wheels for a more athletic feel.
The Stonic range has been simplified to three grades – Pure, GT-Line and GT-Line S. Each version is powered by Kia’s 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine, with 48-volt mild hybrid technology included on GT-Line and GT-Line S models.
Entry-level Pure models deliver 98bhp, while the mild hybrid system boosts GT-Line and GT-Line S to 113bhp. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard on Pure and GT-Line, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic available as an option. GT-Line S comes fitted with DCT as standard.
Prices for the updated Stonic begin at just £21,795 for the Pure. The mid-range GT-Line starts from £24,595, while the high-spec GT-Line S is priced at £28,295. All versions include Kia’s seven-year/100,000-mile warranty.
Every Stonic comes with LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, a 12.3-inch touchscreen navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus advanced driver assistance systems like Lane Keep Assist and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.
Moving up to GT-Line adds 17-inch alloys, LED headlights, heated front seats, privacy glass and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist. The range-topping GT-Line S offers extra luxury with a sunroof, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, heated steering wheel and smart cruise control.
Inside, the Stonic has space for 352 litres of luggage, or up to 1,155 litres with the rear seats folded. The updated interior features a three-screen layout, wireless smartphone connectivity and Kia Connect services as standard.
The Kia Stonic’s second major update brings it in line with models like the Kia XCeed and Kia Sportage, with bold design, practical features and value for money.
The updated Stonic is available to order now at TMS Kia in Leicester, Hinckley and Loughborough, with customer deliveries expected before the end of 2025.
