Kia has revealed its first ever dedicated electric van – the Kia PV5 – bringing a fresh, flexible approach to business mobility.
Built from the ground up as a fully electric light commercial vehicle, the PV5 combines impressive range, clever modular design, and connected technology to make life easier for businesses of every size. With up to 258 miles of driving range and charging from 10–80% in around 30 minutes, it’s built for everything from local deliveries to regional jobs.
The PV5 is available in several versions – Cargo, Passenger, Crew Van, and even Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle – all designed around real business and customer needs. Its smart modular layout allows for easy customisation, helping operators tailor the van to their work, whether that’s transporting tools, passengers, or specialist equipment.
Inside, the PV5 is packed with innovation. It features Kia’s latest connected systems, including Kia PLEOS Fleet and a new Fleet Management platform that helps businesses monitor vehicle health, schedule maintenance, and optimise routes – all in real time. It even runs Android Automotive OS with a large 12.9-inch touchscreen and voice control for hands-free convenience.
With its low loading height, spacious interior and up to 5.2m³ of cargo space, the PV5 is designed to make every job easier. A smooth, balanced drive and best-in-class manoeuvrability mean it’s just as at home in city centres as on open roads.
As part of Kia’s new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy, the PV5 is just the first of a new family of purpose-built electric models. Future versions – including the larger PV7 and PV9 – are already in development, reinforcing Kia’s vision to make mobility more sustainable, adaptable, and customer-focused.
The Kia PV5 is now available to order from our TMS Kia PBV in Leicester. This new electric van represents Kia’s move into a new era of sustainable, connected, and customer-focused mobility for businesses.
