Kia has globally revealed the EV5, a fully electric SUV designed to combine practicality, comfort, and engaging driving for modern families and active lifestyles.
The EV5 sits alongside the Kia EV4 in the line-up, providing a larger, family-friendly SUV option with long-range capability and flexible interior layouts. Customers in Leicester, Hinckley, and Loughborough can now order their EV5 at TMS Kia, with first deliveries expected soon. We are also taking bookings for test drives.

Kia has crafted the EV5 by blending assertive SUV styling with balanced proportions. At 4,610mm long and 1,875mm wide, the EV5 offers a spacious cabin and generous cargo area, while its muscular bonnet, wide front nose and three-dimensional ‘Star Map’ daytime running lights give it a strong road presence. Sculpted side panels, bold wheel arches and square wings reinforce its SUV character, and unique 18- and 19-inch wheels complete the confident, modern look.
Inside, the EV5 delivers flexibility for families and active lifestyles. The second-row seats fold flat to create a continuous cargo space, ideal for shopping, sports equipment, or weekend trips. A three-zone climate system keeps all passengers comfortable, while a sliding centre console tray provides extra convenience for rear-seat occupants. Luggage capacity expands seamlessly, making the EV5 as practical as it is stylish.
The EV5 features a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a 5-inch climate control display, all integrated via Kia’s Navigation Cockpit system. Voice control and optional head-up display improve safety and convenience. Over-the-air updates keep systems current, and the Kia Connect Store allows drivers to personalise settings and features. Additional innovations, such as Pet Mode, help maintain a comfortable interior for pets and passengers alike.
Powered by an 81.4kWh battery and a 160kW front-mounted motor, the EV5 delivers up to 329 miles WLTP range and fast charging from 10–80% in 30 minutes. A low-mounted battery ensures a lower centre of gravity, improving handling and stability. Kia’s i-Pedal 3.0 allows one-pedal driving with adjustable regenerative braking. Advanced driver assistance systems, including Highway Driving Assist 2 and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, help reduce workload in daily driving situations.
