The Kia K4 is confirmed for the UK, with first deliveries expected in late 2025. This new family hatchback combines extra space, advanced technology and efficient hybrid engines at a competitive price point (to be announced closer to launch)
Measuring slightly bigger than the Ceed, the K4 provides up to 438 litres of boot space, making it one of the most practical cars in its class. Rear passengers also benefit from extra legroom, which will appeal to families who need comfort on longer journeys.
Interior and Technology
The cabin of the K4 has been designed to focus on connectivity and convenience. Two 12.3-inch screens are standard, providing digital driver information and an easy-to-use infotainment system. Wireless smartphone connection is also included, allowing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to work without cables. Higher specification models add a premium sound system, digital key access and enhanced ambient lighting.
Safety Features
As with other new Kia models, safety has been made a priority. Standard driver assistance systems include lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, automated emergency braking and intelligent speed limit recognition. Higher trims may offer features such as adaptive cruise control and 360-degree cameras, which are increasingly popular with UK drivers.
Engines and Hybrid Plans
The K4 will launch with a choice of 1.0-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines, both available with mild hybrid technology to improve efficiency. A full hybrid version is planned for 2026, giving customers more choice depending on their driving needs.

The launch of the K4 comes as Kia continues to expand and refresh its model range. The arrival of the all-electric Kia EV3 and flagship EV9 in 2024 highlighted the brand’s investment in electric mobility.
