Marketing Operating Assistant

The Marketing Operations Assistant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and operational effectiveness of all marketing activity. The role underpins campaign delivery by managing data integrity, GDPR compliance, marketing systems, reporting, and administrative coordination.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring marketing activity is compliant, measurable, well-governed, and operationally efficient.

Location: TMS Motor Group Head Office
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain GDPR preferences, opt-outs, consent permissions, and communication settings across CRM and marketing systems.
  • Process unsubscribe requests, deceased customer records, and Subject Access Requests (SARs) accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Ensure all marketing activity adheres to GDPR, data protection regulations, and internal compliance standards.
  • Support campaign governance, including accurate opt-out handling and suppression logic.

Data Accuracy & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate marketing trackers for campaign spend, lead sources, outcomes, and response times.
  • Ensure data integrity across marketing systems, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support ROI analysis by ensuring marketing data is complete, consistent, and reliable.
  • Produce regular campaign performance and enquiry reports for internal stakeholders.

Campaign & Channel Support

  • Prepare data and lists for email and SMS campaigns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the setup, delivery, and post-campaign reporting of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with campaign administration across digital and offline channels.

Systems & Process Management

  • Support new system rollouts, integrations, upgrades, and process changes within marketing platforms.
  • Maintain documentation of marketing processes and system workflows.

Commercial & Offer Administration

  • Update and manage product pricing and finance offers in line with campaign schedules.
  • Proof and quality-check marketing materials where required to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support operational aspects of offer launches and updates.

Marketing Administration & Asset Coordination

  • Act as a central coordination point for marketing administration requests across the business.
  • Ensure point-of-sale (POS) and marketing assets are ordered, logged, delivered, and kept up to date across sites.
  • Maintain records of assets, suppliers, and delivery timelines.

From time to time, weekend work may be required to support marketing events; this will be planned where possible.
