We looked via Kia website at a large number of dealers throughout the UK and Hinckley appeared to have amongst the best choices. Although the dealership is a fair way from us, we decided to visit and we were not disappointed. On arrival at TMS we met Gwen Willett who first established our requirements and then guided us through the process of car selection, purchase and collection. She is very knowledgeable and professional and was helpful throughout. She rang us a week after we collected the car to see how we were getting on with it and again offered her help with any queries we may have. Excellent.
The sales man was kind, and worked out a probe that was right for us and was quick and efficient to get the car to us as soon as possible.

Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, this is our third car from these people and over the many visits we have paid them visits they never fail to treat us with the utmost respect and friendliness, so much so that I have just put our neighbour in touch with them and they are in the process of buying a Sportage this week. We now own two Kia's but in total have owned four, my husband drives a Rio and their attention to detail is second to none, they collect the cars from our places of work when servicing is due and return them perfectly valeted inside and out. As a woman I usually dread walking into car dealerships! Anticipating the moment that you'll get pounced on by pushy 'know it all' sales people that just totally ruin the experience. It is safe to say that from the moment I stepped foot into Kia Hinckley I was treated with the up most respect & courtesy.
Eddie Goode was my sales representative and I really believe he deserves special recognition. I usually get baffled by 'car specs' 'finance' 'PCP plans' etc but Eddie explained everything so clearly, answered all my questions, offered me a test drive there & then, gave me excellent details on the Sportage, and when I thought it was going to fall down due to outstanding finance on my then existing car he managed to rework the numbers for me so I was still able to afford my dream car! Eddie even stepped in and sorted the finance with me due to staff sickness of who I was supposed to be meeting with. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Meaning I got to drive away in my dream car just 10 days after my initial meeting.
I really believe a lot of other sale representatives could learn a lot from Eddie in his mannerisms and approach to selling!

Sales man Dave Webb very patient man when i arrived I didn't know which vehicle i wonted Dave showed me lots of different models and trim levels and explained how various extras worked and why they were needed. This enabled me to make my mind up. The sales man had a very diplomatic manor and made you feel at home straight away nothing was too much trouble. It’s local and has a good reputation all the staff that i have come into contact with seem very nice.

The sales people I dealt with were Jeremy initially, who was extremely helpful on the day considering I literally just walked into the showroom. We identified the potential new cars and he made an appointment for me to go in and test drive a few days later. He made me feel that my custom was very valued and they wanted to part exchange my Sportage for a new car.
I had a coffee and a look around the cars in the showroom, which was spotless, well-lit and all the cars looked beautiful. I received a phone call promptly on the Monday from Anti, who was to be my salesman from this point on. On meeting I found him to be very smart, knowledgeable young man and keen to help me get the new car I was interested in, again feeling very valued as a customer.
Everything was explained in good detail and I'd made the decision to go for the Kia Soul Mixx after seeing one in a car park recently and although there wasn't this model in the showroom , I test drove an urban model and liked it . I wasn't so keen on the changes to the Sportage and wanted something a bit funkier!
I left the showroom to decide on which car during a few days holiday I had arranged. On my return Anti had put the exact deal together for me perfectly, Anti sent me a picture of the car in the showroom with my name on a stand next to it, but it was covered up, so more suspense!
When I arrived to pick up the car, we had an unveiling and photographs and the roof bars i wanted and life shine were added, at no extra cost, so I was soooo happy. It looked beautiful. I couldn't have been better treated if it had been a Rolls Royce!!
To finish, a lovely bouquet of flowers and drive it out of the showroom myself.

TMS Hinckley are fantastic!
Initially I brought a Sorento, needed a 7 seater with 4 kids. I've loved the car, but circumstances have changed in my life where I need to try and save money where possible. Eddie was great, very chatty, supportive and understanding of my needs. It took me a long time to make the decision to down size. But Eddie was very patient. He didn't pester me with phone calls and just helped me make the decision.
They were very patient and informative, I was not pressurised to make a decision. Using the car for a few hours to test it was a real bonus. The finale in revealing the car was a lovely touch and made it really special. Shame I couldn't have continues to have the heated seat with the Sportage due to my budget.
The whole experience of purchasing my vehicle and part exchanging my Kia Sportage at TMS Hinckley was absolutely fantastic. Anti Nurmine the sales person who lead me all the way through the whole course of my purchasing my Kia Niro with absolute professionalism all through the journey from the start of placing my order to taking the delivery of my Kia Niro, this also includes communication from Anti Nurmine along that journey as he kept me informed all the way as to where my vehicle was on its journey from South Korea.
It has to be said that I bought my Kia Sportage from another franchise in 2012 and believe you me that franchise comes know where near as to how TMS go about their business in the form of selling cars and the backup service they provide, an absolute delight to deal with and I will be back for more in 2017 when my partner will being looking at changing her vehicle for a brand new Kia Rio or Ceed Hybrid.
Anti Nurmine spent 4 hours going through the mechanics of the technology of my new Kia Niro before I left the showroom, fantastic!

This is just a short note to thank you for a brilliant experience at your dealership. The Ford Kuga that we purchased is a wonderful car and although it wasn’t a new car the condition, preparation, valeting and servicing was exemplary.
Your Sales Person, Dave Webb, was outstanding from the outset. He was polite, sociable and very professional and although I know it is his job to sell cars he wasn’t overzealous or pushy. He listened to us and our requirements and assisted us in any way he could to achieve us getting the car in a deal that suited the customer and not the selling criteria alone. He was friendly towards us as people and not just about getting our cash.

Apart from being very happy with my new Kia, the dealership contributed to the best car purchasing experience as explained in the previous question. From the moment I walked into the showroom to the day I drove off in my new car, the service was exceptional. I felt at ease and not at all pressured, this was the best experience I have had when purchasing a car, even down to special touches like being able to drive out of the showroom and the beautiful flowers I received when I collected my car.

We have had two Kia Sportages, one purchased from Burton Kia and the current one from TMS Kia. Our experiences with Burton Kia were very trying at times, so much so that we went to Loughborough Kia, but the service here was even worse and we were charged over at hundred pounds for a fault that did not exist. We have taken our new car back to TMS for the first service and were completely satisfied with every aspect of the service, the customer care and the welcome we received.
We feel we must mention our Salesman, Anti, who gave us such good service when we purchased the vehicle, fully understanding our requirements and ensuring that the vehicle was ready for us to go on holiday. After our previous experience with Burton Kia, he made our purchase and the details of the service plan, etc. very clear to us and we felt that we could actually purchase another Sportage. He rang several times to check that we were satisfied or if we had any questions. He has also telephoned on a couple of occasions to check if everything was ok. When we took the car for our six months check he came over to see us and again at the 12 month service. I am writing to express my thanks to all the staff at TMS, Hinckley. I have been a customer on the Volvo Motors side of TMS for many years and would just like to say how much of a joy and pleasure it has been dealing with the staff on this side.
All the staff, Tony in particular have been so kind, professional and courteous towards me whilst still managing to be friendly and very receptive in conversation and small talk. Indeed, I would now class Tony has a friend rather than merely just the gentleman who dealt with my vehicle. Also, further to this Moira and Richard have always been very friendly and chirpy in a most kindly fashion which really puts a person at ease when entering the establishment. It is at this point that I must also include Andy, the salesman in the Volvo Motors side, who is truly a master of his trade and is one of the nicest people one could wish to meet. He has been most informative with any information on any Vehicles I have been interested in and does so with a real professionalism, but is also a person with which I have shared more than one funny and comedic moment with whilst visiting Volvo. These staff I believe are what makes TMS such a profound success......a real Analogue, Human and Hands on touch in an otherwise Digital Age.
And so I have moved next door to TMS Kia, and on to a new brand and set of staff.
Again, I am most delighted to report that the staff on the Kia side are absolutely brilliant. Anti, in particular has been excellent and a real professional whilst being a truly nice person to deal with and has made purchasing my new vehicle a real stress free experience which I am thankful of. Lee in finance also deserves a mention has he is a true gent and has advised and been so helpful with things.
