Graceful, energetic silhouette

The sculpted exterior of the XC60 Plug-in Hybrid​ conveys a sense of motion, even when sitting parked. And because it draws from our Scandinavian design heritage, every detail is beautiful and practical.

Chiselled curves around the wheel arches enhance the car’s powerful road presence while reducing drag. High ground clearance looks commanding and offers excellent visibility. Windows sit flush and stretch low down the doors, filling the cabin with light. The wheels are large, eye-catching, technical – a final flourish on a dynamic design.

Two exterior themes

Customise your XC60 Plug-in Hybrid​ by selecting an exterior theme. Bright theme has matching body-coloured accents, while Dark theme has high-gloss black finishes. In both themes, the diagonal pattern on the front grille is anchored by the Volvo Cars Iron Mark.

Choose from six alloy wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches. Each lightweight and aerodynamic design boosts your range on the road.

They’ve got style covered, too.

All designs feature our signature Iron Mark on the centre cap and complement both Bright and Dark exterior themes. The diamond-cut finish combines polished aluminium with matte or high-gloss accents to bring your car’s exterior to life.

Full LED headlights

Standard LED headlights in our signature Thor's Hammer design cast a wide light pattern for excellent visibility. They automatically switch between high and low beams when you encounter other cars.

Upgrade to advanced Full LED Active High Beam headlights for even greater visibility. They constantly adapt to your surroundings, shading out oncoming vehicles while keeping a broad light pattern. And as you steer into curves, they swivel to light the way.

They’re also intelligent. High beams switch off as you enter a city but stay on as you pass illuminated signs.

Both options use minimal electric current, and the efficient LED lamps keep their luminance over the lifetime of the car.

Spacious and flexible boot

Luggage. Sports gear. The weekly shop. Load it all into the 483-litre boot. Its wide shape, no lip landing and flat floor make it easy.

Need more room? The 40/60 split-folding backrests make the cabin layout flexible. And they lie flat to create a level surface whether you fold them down together or separately.

Use the through-hatch in the centre rear seat to pack long items like skis, keeping the outer seats free for passengers.

The tailgate is power-operated. Kick under the rear bumper to open or close it hands-free. You can also use buttons on the tailgate, centre display and key fob.

Crafted details

Look closer, and crafted details begin to emerge. Gleaming chrome vent trims and etched metal accents. The jewel-like mesh speakers of the premium Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity Audio System. And the optional hand-stitching on the dashboard and centre console. Inviting. Functional. Elegant.

Convenient storage

Slide back the sleek roll-top cover of the centre console to reveal a handy storage space. It’s the perfect hiding spot for your wallet, sunglasses and keys. You’ll find two cupholders for your drinks and one extra for a slim can.

Rear seats also have space for the essentials (and the not-so-essentials). There are door pockets to keep snacks or sunglasses within easy reach. And the rear folding armrest has two built-in cupholders for drinks or small items.

Panoramic roof

Select the panoramic roof for a sweeping view of the sky. Dark-tinted laminated glass helps reduce glare and outside noise. Open it to enjoy a refreshing breeze. If it gets too noisy, open or tilt just the front section.

On hot days, roll out the power-operated sunshade. It's a perforated textile that lets in light to keep the cabin feeling airy but not overheated. The sunshade can automatically deploy when temperatures reach 25°C.

Full-sized seats

The roomy cabin invites everyone to relax. The two outer rear seats are full-sized and ergonomically designed to keep passengers comfortable, even on long journeys. Heated seats can help keep them toasty, too.
