Sunday, 8th June 2025, the roads of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire will come alive with the sound of classic and modern engines, as the much-loved Ratae Run returns. We’re proud to be an official sponsor of this fantastic event.
Organised by the South Leicestershire MG Club, the Ratae Run has become a cherished annual tradition since its inception in 2012. Open to all makes and models, both vintage and contemporary, the run celebrates community, driving passion, and charitable giving, all rolled into one unforgettable day.
This year’s route starts from the White Horse Pub in Broughton Astley, where participants will be welcomed with a free breakfast cob and hot drink to set the tone for a relaxed and sociable morning. From there, the scenic 80-mile route winds through the countryside, with a mid-way coffee stop at Whilton Locks Garden Village, before reaching the magnificent Lamport Hall & Gardens.
The destination, Lamport Hall, is a fitting end to the journey. Steeped in history and framed by ten acres of stunning gardens, it offers participants the chance to enjoy a guided tour or simply unwind in a truly elegant setting.
More than just a drive, the Ratae Run supports a meaningful cause. This year, all proceeds go to Leicester Musical Memory Box, a wonderful local organisation that uses the power of music to support individuals living with dementia and memory challenges across Leicestershire and Rutland.
So polish up your pride and joy, gather your friends or family, and join us for a fantastic drive through the heart of the Midlands, all in support of a truly worthy cause.
