The new Sportage offers a choice of petrol, hybrid (HEV), and soon, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains. Petrol models feature a 1.6-litre engine, while the hybrid combines this with a 1.49 kWh battery for improved efficiency. The PHEV will launch later in 2025.
Yes. Front-wheel drive is standard on petrol and most hybrid models, while all-wheel drive is available on the hybrid ‘GT-Line S’ trim. The upcoming PHEV will also be available with front-wheel drive.
