TMS Volvo Coventry has recently completed a considerable refurbishment project that has revitalised and transformed the dealership into a £1.7m Volvo Retail Experience (VRE).


The VRE initiative places a focus on improving the space and design of the dealership and is designed to reflect Scandinavian inspired values of calm, clean lines with ‘cool on the outside and warm on the inside’-style architecture.

The aim of VRE is to create an environment for customers in which high levels of visual transparency are key. Large exterior and interior glazing allows customers to see all activity in the new workshops, turning the spotlight on what is often regarded as ‘behind-the-scenes’. Inside the showroom, there is a balanced focus on physical and digital presentation, making sure the sales and service areas are completely integrated to deliver an open, holistic environment.

Remaining at its original home on London Road, the new-look TMS Volvo Coventry features a signature lounge area, complete with Scandinavian designed furniture, free WiFi, and tasty Swedish fika. Large exterior and interior glazing allows customers to see all activity in the new workshops from - what feels like - the comfort of their own living room.

Alongside the Volvo Retail Experience, TMS Volvo Coventry are also in the process of offering the new Volvo Personal Service (VPS). VPS places more focus on Volvo technicians liaising with their customers, all the way from the point of booking, right through to explaining the services - which they themselves will have carried out.
